6 findings
  1. The short answer

Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover is a public university in Germany with a focus on performing arts and media. It suits students who want a bachelor’s-level study option in this field and are checking a specialist university rather than a broad comprehensive institution.

  2. What you can study

The university lists 10 programmes at bachelor's degree level. The programme names available are Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Health Care Studies, Health Services Management, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Public Health, Respiratory Care Technology, Massage Therapy, and Welding Technology.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the university’s official admissions process and check the current entry requirements on the university website. 4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee range for international students; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. Living costs in Hanover will still need to be budgeted separately, including housing, food, transport, and insurance.

  5. Coming from abroad

The university is in Germany, and the available information does not state the language of instruction. Before applying, confirm the programme language, visa requirements, proof of funds, health insurance, and whether your previous qualifications meet the entry rules.

  6. How it compares

Germany has 326 universities in total, so this institution sits within a large higher-education system but is much more specialised than most of it. Its main distinguishing feature is its focus on performing arts and media rather than a broad range of subjects.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
