Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universitä: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität Bonn is a public university in Germany with a small published programme catalogue. It suits students who want a limited set of study options and are prepared to check the official website for full admission and fee details.

  2. What you can study

The university lists 25 programmes at Bachelor's Degree and Diploma level. Example programme areas include Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Teacher Preparation, Engineering, General Education, Nursing, Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology, Automotive Systems Technology, Basic Law Enforcement Training, Business Administration, and Culinary Arts.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the university’s official website and confirm the entry requirements for the specific programme they want. The university does not publish the full admissions process, so check language requirements, document deadlines, and whether the chosen programme accepts international applicants before applying.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee range for international students; confirm the current cost with its admissions office. Living costs in Germany will depend on your city, housing, and daily spending, so plan for those separately.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not published, so confirm it before you apply. Also check whether your qualification is accepted for the degree level you want, what documents you must submit, and whether you need to arrange visa, housing, and health insurance before arrival.

  6. How it compares

Germany has 326 universities, so this institution sits in a large national field. Its published profile is narrower than many universities because only 25 programmes are listed, which makes it a better fit for applicants who already have a specific subject area in mind than for those looking for a broad menu of options.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
