Kumaraguru College of Technology: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Kumaraguru College of Technology is an autonomous engineering college in Coimbatore, affiliated with Anna University and approved by AICTE. It suits students who want an engineering-focused option in India and want to study at an institution with accredited undergraduate programmes.

  2. What you can study

The main area of study is engineering. All eligible undergraduate programmes have also been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), which matters if you want a programme with external programme-level review. The programme catalogue is not listed here, so check the official website for the current subjects and degree options.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the college’s official admissions process and verify the entry requirements, document list, deadline, and any visa-related steps on the website. Because admission rules can vary by programme and applicant category, confirm the current process directly with the admissions office before applying.

  4. What it costs

The college does not publish a tuition fee range here; confirm the current fee with its admissions office. Living costs in Coimbatore will depend on your housing and day-to-day spending, so check local accommodation and transport prices before you apply.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated here, so confirm it on the official website before applying. If you are moving from abroad, check whether the college accepts your qualification, what documents it needs, how fees are paid, and what support is available for visa and arrival planning.

  6. How it compares

Among 475 universities in India, Kumaraguru College of Technology is a specialised engineering college rather than a broad university. Its appeal is strongest for students who want an engineering institution with autonomous status, Anna University affiliation, and NBA-accredited eligible undergraduate programmes.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
