6 findings
  1. The short answer

Jeju International University is a public university in South Korea. It suits international applicants who want a Korean university and are willing to confirm programme details directly with the university before applying.

  2. What you can study

The university is described as Jeju International University, with a history that includes Tamra University and Jeju University of Industry and Information being integrated. No subject areas or individual degree programmes are published in the information available, so the programme catalogue needs to be confirmed on the official website.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should check the official website for the admissions route, required documents, deadlines, and any language requirements. The university’s application process for overseas students is not described, so confirm the current procedure with the admissions office.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee for international students; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. Living costs in Jeju will depend on housing, food, transport, and personal spending, so check local costs before applying.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm whether your chosen programme is taught in Korean, English, or both. Before applying, check visa steps, document requirements, entry deadlines, and whether the university offers any support for overseas students.

  6. How it compares

South Korea has 245 universities, so this institution sits in a large and competitive higher education system. Its public status and Jeju location may appeal to applicants who want a university outside the main mainland cities, but the deciding factor will be whether it offers the programme and admissions route you need.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
