School of Advanced Study, University of: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

School of Advanced Study, University of London is a public institution in the United Kingdom with a defined set of study options across several subject areas. It suits applicants who want a broad programme catalogue and need to compare options before checking the details on the university website.

  2. What you can study

The institution lists 22 programmes, including Accounting, Addiction Studies, Administration of Justice, Anthropology, Architecture, Art History, Photography, Biology, Business Administration, Communication Studies, Computer Science Applications and Development, and Cosmetology. That mix suggests options across arts, social sciences, business, science, and applied study areas.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should review the official website for entry requirements, application steps, documents, and deadlines before applying. The admissions process is not described in detail here, so confirm the exact route, any country-specific requirements, and how your qualifications will be assessed directly with the university.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a tuition fee in the information available here; confirm the current fee for your programme with its admissions office. Living costs in the United Kingdom will still need to be budgeted separately, especially for accommodation, transport, and day-to-day expenses.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated here, so confirm it on the official website before applying. A student coming from abroad should also check visa requirements, the document list, tuition payment timing, and whether the programme they want is currently open to international applicants.

  6. How it compares

There are 193 universities in the United Kingdom, so this institution sits in a crowded national landscape where applicants can compare many options. Its 22 listed programmes make it a smaller catalogue than many full universities, which may suit students who want to focus on the subjects it actually offers rather than a very broad campus choice.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
