University of East London: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

The University of East London is a public university in the United Kingdom, based in London. It suits international applicants who want a London-based public institution and are comfortable checking programme and entry details directly on the university website.

  2. What you can study

The university’s subject areas and programme catalogue are not listed in the information available here, so the programme offer still needs to be checked on the official website. What is clear is that it is a public university based in Stratford and Docklands in London.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the university’s official admissions process and check the entry requirements for the specific course they want. The university website should be used to confirm document requirements, deadlines, and whether there are any country-specific steps for overseas applicants.

  4. What it costs

A tuition fee is not published in the available information, so the current rate should be confirmed with the university’s admissions office. Living costs in London are usually higher than in many other UK locations, so applicants should budget carefully for rent, transport, food, and day-to-day expenses.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated here, so confirm it on the official site before applying. If you are moving from abroad, also check visa requirements, accommodation options, tuition payment timing, and whether your qualifications meet the course entry requirements.

  6. How it compares

The United Kingdom has 193 universities, so this is one option in a large and competitive system. Compared with many others, its main distinguishing points are that it is public, based in London, and spread across three campuses in Stratford and Docklands.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
