Baiko Women's College: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Baiko Women's College is a public university in Japan with bachelor's and master's study options. It suits students who want a small, focused programme selection rather than a wide subject menu.

  2. What you can study

The college lists two programmes: グローバルアジア研究科 and 21世紀アジア学科. It offers study at bachelor's degree and master's degree level, so applicants should expect a limited catalogue and check the official website for the current programme details and teaching language.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the college’s official admissions process and confirm entry requirements, document lists, and deadlines on the website. The college does not publish further admissions details here, so check the admissions office for any programme-specific requirements and whether additional steps apply for international students.

  4. What it costs

The college does not publish a tuition fee range for international students; confirm the current tuition with its admissions office. Living costs in Japan will depend on the city, housing, and daily spending, so budget separately for accommodation, food, transport, and insurance.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm that before applying, along with whether the programme can be completed in Japanese or another language. Also check visa support, document translation needs, housing options, and whether the college accepts international applicants for both degree levels.

  6. How it compares

Japan has 571 universities, so Baiko Women's College sits in a large national higher-education system. Its narrow programme list and public status make it more suitable for applicants who already want one of its two listed subjects than for students looking to compare many majors within one institution.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
