Josai University: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Josai University is a public university in Japan. It suits students who want to study in Sakado, Saitama, and are looking for a university with an established history and a small set of clearly identified academic roots.

  2. What you can study

The university opened with a Faculty of Economics and a Faculty of Science. No wider current subject list or full programme catalogue is published in the information available, so confirm the exact degree options on the official website before applying.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through the universityโ€™s official admissions process and check the current entry requirements, document list, deadlines, and whether any entrance examinations are needed. The website should be the first place to confirm programme-specific requirements and application procedures.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish tuition fees in the information available, so confirm the current fee with its admissions office. Living costs in Sakado and the wider Saitama area will depend on housing, transport, food, and personal spending.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm it before applying. Also check visa support, required language tests, document translation rules, and whether your chosen programme has separate requirements for international students.

  6. How it compares

Japan has 571 universities, and Josai University sits among them as a public institution in Sakado, Saitama with its own long-running institutional history. Compared with many larger options in the country, the key question for an applicant is not scale but whether its available academic offerings match the subject area they want to study.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them โ€” always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
