Federal Pell Grant

LeMoyne-Owen College

Pell Grants are considered the foundation of federal financial aid. The amount awarded depends on financial need, costs to attend the school, enrollment status and plans to attend for a full academic year or less.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)

LeMoyne-Owen College

Awards are made up to $4,000 per academic year for eligible students. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a Satisfactory Academic status, reapplication of the FAFSA, continued financial need, and federal pell grant eligibility.

Federal Work Study (FWS)

The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) is a federally funded need-based work program that allows students to receive a Federal Work-Study award as part of their financial aid package.

Academic Scholarship

Renewable for up to 4 years. Students must maintain a minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the end of each semester and full-time enrollment (12 credits or more). Recommendation or appointment required.

AMEC Scholarship

Available to traditional students who are current or new students. Must maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA while attending Morris Brown at the end of each semester. New applicants must provide evidence of AME Church membership.

SGA President Scholarship

Students must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA at the end of each semester. Scholarship applied to tuition costs minus any other grants or scholarships each semester. Recommendation or appointment required.
