Sejong University: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Sejong University is a university in Seoul, South Korea, and it offers at least one master’s-level programme. It suits an international applicant looking for graduate study in a university that lists strengths in hospitality and tourism management, dancing, animation, rhythmic gymnastics, computer science, and AI.

  2. What you can study

The listed study option is a Master’s Degree programme: 医学研究科看護専攻. The university also describes itself as offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes, but only one programme is explicitly listed here, so the wider programme catalogue should be confirmed on the official website.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply for the degree and department they want to enter, then check the university’s official admissions pages for entry requirements, deadlines, document lists, and any language or visa steps. The programme details are limited here, so confirm the current application process directly with the admissions office and the relevant graduate school.

  4. What it costs

Tuition is in KRW, but the university does not publish a fee range here; confirm the current tuition with its admissions office. Living costs in Seoul will depend on housing, food, transport, and personal spending, so check current estimates before applying.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm it for the specific programme before you apply. Also check whether you need proof of language ability, how documents must be submitted, and what support is available for visa, housing, and arrival in Seoul.

  6. How it compares

South Korea has 245 universities, so Sejong University sits in a large and competitive higher-education market. Its main point of difference is the mix of subject areas it is known for, especially computer science and AI alongside hospitality and tourism management and several performance-related fields.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
