Cape Cod Community College: the applicant's brief

6 findings
  1. The short answer

Cape Cod Community College is a public community college in the United States, based in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. It suits students who want associate degrees, academic certificates, or a pathway into partner bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

  2. What you can study

Cape Cod Community College awards Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, along with academic certificates in a wide range of programmes. It also provides access to on-campus bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes through partnerships with Bridgewater State University, Boston University, Lesley University, Salem State University, Suffolk University, UMass Boston, and UMass Dartmouth.

  3. Getting in

International applicants should check the college’s official website for the current application steps, document requirements, deadlines, and any English language expectations. If you plan to move on to one of its partner bachelor’s or master’s options, confirm the separate admissions rules for that programme with the college and the partner institution.

  4. What it costs

The college does not publish a fee for international students; confirm the current rate with its admissions office. Expect living costs to depend on housing, transport, food, and personal spending in Massachusetts.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not published. Before applying, confirm the academic language, visa documents, whether international students can enter directly into an associate degree or certificate, and how the transfer or partner-degree routes work.

  6. How it compares

Among the 2,515 universities and colleges in the United States, Cape Cod Community College is one of the smaller-access entry points because it is a public community college rather than a four-year university. Its main value is local access to associate study and the option to connect into named bachelor’s and master’s partners.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
