  2. What you can study

  3. Getting in

International applicants should apply through Hampton University’s official admissions process and check the current entry requirements, document list, deadlines, and any country-specific instructions on the university website. Because programme-level requirements can vary, confirm the exact requirements for the course you want before applying.

  4. What it costs

The university does not publish a fee range; confirm the current tuition with its admissions office. Living costs in Hampton, Virginia will depend on housing, food, transport, and personal spending, so check current local estimates before you budget.

  5. Coming from abroad

The language of instruction is not stated, so confirm that on the university website before applying. If you are moving from abroad, also check visa steps, housing options, health insurance, and whether your chosen programme has any additional entry or document requirements.

  6. How it compares

With 2,515 universities in the United States, Hampton University sits in a very crowded higher-education market. Its smaller published programme set and focus on bachelor’s and master’s study make it a narrower choice than many large multi-faculty universities, so it may suit students who want a limited but defined range of subjects rather than broad course choice.

Written from this university's catalogue entry and its cited encyclopedia summary. Figures are only shown where the institution or a cited source publishes them — always confirm fees and entry requirements with the university itself before applying.
